“Hello! I am Sam Wheel, and I am the creator of this web site. I have started the BTEC National Diploma course in September 2006. In the first year, I struggled a little bit during the course, but I persisted and am on course for a predicted double merit-pass (MMP) grade for the end of the second year.
This website is publishing my work that I had done for the Language and Communications section of the diploma course. What I had to do was write a user guide on the Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and I had to research different features of the packages that I had trouble with and write a user guide on them. Some of the features that I have listed on the website I knew about, but I was out of practice so I had some trouble of how to use them. The teacher(s) helped me with the user guide a little bit in terms of how to use the features, but I wrote the actual guide. I like writing and telling people what to do, so I enjoyed some of it. I have also included some images to help further explain the task.
